Egyptian Air Defence gets qualification from ABI in the UK

Officers from the Egyptian Air Defence Workshop receive qualified training from ABI in the UK.

 

ABI and the Egyptian MoD have been partners for over 25 years with ABI products playing a crucial role in the upkeeping of an important share of the country's defence systems. A large scale of military equipment, from radars and communication systems to biomedical technologies, are supported locally by the military thanks to ABI's unique products which are designed and made in Yorkshire, England.

 

In late 2018, the Air Defence Workshop upgraded two of their existing labs and acquired the most current versions of ABI's BoardMaster and RevEng systems. This week, three high-rank officers visited ABI to receive certified qualification on the new systems and to discuss plans for further expanding the successful relationship between both organisations.

 

ABI was honoured to host Brigadier Yasser Hassan among the group of officers, reaffirming his team's commitment to the implementation of the ABI test gear and to the multiplication of the knowledge acquired during their trip to the UK.

 

 

The group toured around ABI's production line in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

 

 

The practical training provides a great opportunity for users to increase their understanding of the ABI test gear
